The firm's workers' compensation defense practice represents numerous employers, insurers, self insureds and servicing agents all over the State of Georgia. We have appeared before each of the states' 25 Administrative Law Judges and the State Board of Workers' Compensation in Atlanta.

Our lawyers understand the important business considerations involved with the scope of any defense and/or settlement plan and work with our clients to create sound legal and cost-effective strategies. We aggressively represent our clients in all aspects of a disputed claim, ensuring that our clients receive fair hearings and fair resolutions. We are routinely requested to negotiate and draft the final terms of settlement stipulations, ensuring that they are approved by the Board. We also work with our clients to ensure effective mediations and appeals when necessary.

Members of our workers’ compensation defense practice contribute to the legislative process each year. The firm is an active member of the Georgia Self Insurers Association, participating in GSIA's semi-annual seminars given in the spring and fall. Our firm is also a longstanding member of the Atlanta Claims Association and our attorneys serve on the ACA's Workers' Compensation Committee.
