Experience

Throughout his career, Mr. Tornillo has represented both large corporate clients and small businesses in the areas of premises liability and products liability. Mr. Tornillo has successfully defended his clients against claims of wrongful death, negligent exposure to toxic chemicals, negligent security, and traumatic brain injury.

Mr. Tornillo has defended hundreds of cases involving toxic torts, hearing loss, and cumulative trauma to the lower extremities, as well as represented manufacturers in product liability wrongful death actions. He also has represented CSX Transportation, Inc. as both defendant and plaintiff in catastrophic railroad grade crossing accidents.

Mr. Tornillo joined the firm in 1995. Prior to coming to the firm, he lived in the Washington, D.C. area, where he worked as a consultant for the Federal Aviation Administration and ran a number of local political campaigns.
