Experience
Rayford Taylor’s practice centers on workers’ compensation defense and appellate law, representing employers, employee leasing companies, insureds, self-insureds and servicing agents all over Georgia.  His practice also includes administrative and governmental law and legislative consultation.

Prior to joining the firm, Rayford was a name partner for many years in a Florida based full-service law firm representing the business and insurance community.  Rayford managed that firm’s first branch office in Tallahassee and more recently managed the Atlanta office.  He also has served as general counsel, legislative counsel and staff attorney to The Florida Bar.

During his practice, he has defended workers' compensation cases throughout Florida and Georgia. He has also handled over 200 appeals before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Florida Supreme Court, and all five Appellate Courts in Florida.

He is currently the Vice-President of the National Workers' Compensation Defense Network, and the Employer Co-Chair of the Workers' Compensation Committee of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association.
