Experience

Karen Dunbar specializes in toxic torts and transportation law. She has represented CSX Transportation, Inc. in the defense of hundreds of occupational injury and toxic tort claims as well as catastrophic railroad grade crossing accident litigation.  Ms. Dunbar  has mediated and arbitrated more than one hundred cases for CSXT.

Ms. Dunbar joined the firm in 1996.  Prior to coming to the firm, she lived in the Tampa Bay area, where she interned for Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Susan C. Bucklew, now a United States District Judge for the Middle District of Florida.  Ms. Dunbar also practiced law in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she specialized in automobile insurance and premises liability defense for numerous Fortune 500 national insurance carriers and their insureds.
