Experience
Bob Casey co-founded the firm in 1990. His practice emphasizes trial practice in the transportation law, commercial litigation, and franchising areas, heading up the firm's franchise law practice section. Mr. Casey has been trial counsel for CSX Transportation, Inc. and its predecessor railroads for over twenty-five years. He has obtained multiple defense verdicts in railroad grade crossing accidents and in railroad employee litigation filed under the Federal Employers Liability Act. In recent years, Mr. Casey also has represented business franchisees involved in disputes with their franchisors.
Since 1978, Mr. Casey has practiced law in the courtroom in trials involving commercial and contract disputes, franchising disputes, construction disputes, workers’ compensation claims, wrongful death and serious personal injury claims. He began his practice in the midwest, where he practiced law in Ohio and Michigan for six years before relocating to Atlanta. |
