Experience

Teresa ("Teri") Bailey's practice centers on real property litigation, including title insurance, quiet title and condemnation cases, boundary and survey disputes, mortgage fraud, contracts, real estate brokerage disputes, professional negligence, construction defects, landlord/tenant disputes, foreclosure, covenant enforcement, premise liability claims, and business litigation. Ms. Bailey also has experience closing residential and commercial real estate transactions, and has managed an in-house title insurance group for a large firm. She has substantial lead counsel experience in bench and jury trials, appellate practice before both the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court, and is a certified mediator. For many years, Ms. Bailey has served Fulton County as a Special Master deciding numerous quiet title and condemnation cases involving property in all parts of Fulton County and involving a wide range of issues including: tax sales, fraudulent conveyances, forged deeds, lost deeds, adverse possession, boundary disputes, legal description errors, recording errors, utility and transportation easements.
