Guy
joined the firm in August of 2000. He works in the firm's
plaintiffs practice where he represents personal injury victims.
His recent case list includes two infant drowning cases; several
motor vehicle death cases; a suit by the family of a police
officer who died in the line of duty; a suit against the people
responsible for the murder of Derwin Brown B the Sheriff Elect
of DeKalb County; and cases against an amusement park where
two patrons broke their backs on a ride.
Before joining the firm, Guy worked as an Associate City
Attorney for the City of Atlanta, where he represented the
police department. Guy was part of the City's prosecution
team in the nationally televised Gold Club and Club Nikki
cases. Guy has also worked as a Staff Attorney for the Eleventh
Circuit Court of Appeals. As a Staff Attorney, he reviewed
appeals and recommended dispositions to three judge panels.
Guy also has commercial real estate experience.
Guy attended Cornell University School of Law where he received
his J.D. in 1995. He completed his undergraduate studies at
Boston University. He graduated from Boston University in
1992, with a double major in Economics and History, magna
cum laude with distinction in economics. He was also
a member of the Golden Key Club.
Guy grew up in Israel, England, and Nigeria and moved to
the United States at the age of 15. He is married to Sandra.
Sandra and Guy are the proud parents of Isabela Maayan Weiss.
